Titanium Graphite Casting
Similar to stainless steel, pressure-resistant housings and large-volume components can also be manufactured from titanium using casting processes. Since casting is performed under vacuum conditions, graphite-based molds are used to achieve high-quality surface finishes and a uniform casting flow.
The images below show typical components produced using this process, along with selected stages of the manufacturing process.
